WHAT IS SOONDUBU-JJIGAE?

Soondubu-jjigae is a popular Korean stew made with soft tofu simmered in a spicy, flavorful broth. It is enriched with chili oil and red pepper powder for a deep, rich taste, and can be enjoyed with seafood, pork, or an egg for added texture and flavor. This warm and hearty dish is known for its spicy and comforting taste, making it perfect when paired with rice.

INGREDIENTS

- 7oz soft tofu(200g)
- 1stalk green onion
- 1.6cup water(400ml)
- 1.7oz minced meat(50g)
- 1 egg
- 2Tbsp TaigerSpoon Sauce



- 1.7oz onion(50g)
- 1oz napa cabbage(30g)
- 1.7oz mung been sprout(50g)
- 5 shrimp
- 2Tbsp fish sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare the ingredients.
    TIP 1. Cut the napa cabbage into large quarters.
    TIP 2. Rinse the bean sprouts thoroughly in water.
    TIP 3. Thinly slice the onion and cut the green onion into four pieces, then slice them lengthwise.
  2. Mix the Taiger Spoon sauce with fish sauce.
  3. In a pot, add the bean sprouts, napa cabbage, shrimp, ground meat, soft tofu, sauce, and water, then bring it to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, add the onion, green onion, and egg, then let it simmer until all ingredients are fully cooked.
